Introducing the Abhayaratna Trust
Maitrikaya is the Abhayaratna Trust representative in Ireland. In this short video he gives a brief introduction to the Abhayaratna Trust and the work that we do in supporting individual members of the Triratna Buddhist Order throughout the world.
Supporting the global health of the Order
The Abhayaratna Trust launched an Order Health Fund at the UK & Ireland Convention last year, as a resource for Order members worldwide in need of financial support for health issues.
The kind of costs this fund can support are dentistry, glasses, hearing aids and medical aids, as well as mental and physical health support in the form of wellbeing grants for therapies.
The aim is to build the fund significantly in the next few years so it can support a wide range of health costs where other funding is not available.

Problems paying bills?
Did you know that you can apply to the Abhayaratna Trust for help with paying household bills? For example, the cost of gas and electricity is a real concern for people across Europe, including many in our Order. Triratna Order members can request up to €1700 support with their personal fuel costs; Email taradakini@abhayaratnatrust.org or text her on +44 7857 351818 if you need financial assistance.
