Creating a Local Care Network
HELP LOCAL CARE HAPPEN
The Abhayaratna Trust sees the potential in developing a network of local support for elderly and unwell members of the Triratna Buddhist Order. It’s another step in our encouraging a consistent culture of care in the Triratna Community. Initially we are asking your help to raise £2500 to get the first project going, in the Manchester Sangha. Support this significant project by donating today, and please sign up below for updates about this and other Trust news.

3 Peaks Challenge
LET’S GIFT 30 INDIAN ORDER MEMBERS A PLACE AT THE INDIA CONVENTION
Our director, Mahasraddha, will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge this August - walking 24 miles (38.6 km) overnight to raise £1500. With 5200 feet of ascent covering the English Pennine peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, please sponsor Mahasraddha and encourage him on his way. £1500 will give 30 members of the Triratna Order in India, with little or no personal income, the chance to go to the Order Convention there this November. Please sponsor Mahasraddha today, and keep in touch by signing up below for our newsletter so you can find out how he gets on.
Caring for Kamalashila
SUPPORT A WELL LOVED DHARMA TEACHER THROUGH ILL HEALTH
Kamalashila is a well-known Triratna Dharma teacher, living in West London. His health has taken a hit, with MS, chronic asthma and hypertension, reducing the time he can give to teaching – donations from which usually cover his living costs. Help us to raise £3500 to see him through the rest of this year, until he can teach again around the UK. Find out more at https://facebook.com/AbhayaratnaTrust
